Mountain Biking

Mountain biking in Nebraska might seem like a contradiction. BUT . . . not so! While the state isn't known for mountain peaks, it does have some mighty rugged "hills" in the little-known, but splendid area of the Pine Ridge.

Nearly undiscovered by mountain bikers, those who have tried it, like it! With its ponderosa pine forests, rimrock ridges, deep canyons and open grasslands, the "Ridge" boasts over 170,000 acres of public land that is markedly different from the rest of the state.
