Railroad Weekend
The Chicago & North Western Historical Society annual convention is being held in Rapid City, SD this year. One of their activities is to come to Chadron to visit the roundhouse and yard. They will be visiting Dawes County Historical Museum also. In order to share our extended Railroad collection with the general puplic, the museum will be open May 19 (10:00-4:00) and May 20 (1:00-5:00) Many of the items from the Sandstrom collection will be on display as well as the items previously seen at the Museum.
